Dude...Pathfinder 1e barbarian level 11...3 attacks per round if going full attack and +6 to STR while raging ...

Stacked some fucking bodies...and a 75 damage full attack with one crit...would've been 95 if the second attack's crit confirmed...wasn't even raging...

I have the Pathfinder 2e PHB. Needs an online version of D&D Beyond, I’d buy everything

Looks like next month I’ll probably be starting a new campaign with an old friend. Very strict rules, even stricter than my usual WotC only with limitations on that. 5th level, 15 14 13 12 10 10 stats, very limited magic and no multiclassing so I can’t use any of the dozens of PCs I already have (been playing since 1981, basic set / 1e Advanced D&D) but that’s okay. Building some new characters and getting excited about it. Hope it pans out.

Very limited magic? How so?

My life is busy AF (as I’m sure most people’s are). PM me or tag me here very beginning of May to remind me, thanks.

Anyone else want in, PM or tag me here and I’ll probably say yes

The only "limited magic" game I've played in had it so you couldn't readily purchase magic. There were no enchanted item vendors and scrolls/potions/casting services were limited to lv3. Anything higher level needed to be found as treasure, the party had to build themselves, or you had to risk making a bargain with one of the setting's demigods.

This was pretty standard for me.

Even now at LvL 11 we're trying to hint to our DM we need some Magic gear that boosts our AC as we are for the most part very hittable and we lack a healer.

We're basically "Glass Cannons" at this point, to where we can dish it out but can't take it.

My groups’ standard play for 5e is non-magical items and common magic by cost (common 50 gp). All others by level equivalent, as so:
1 level Uncommon (pc level 3 minimum)
2 levels Rare (pc level 5 minimum)
3 levels Very Rare (pc level 11 minimum)
4 levels Legendry (pc level 16 minimum)

You can generally end up with 1 item “level” of magic stuff for roughly your pc level minus 2 (so a 10th level pc would have Uncommon and Rare items totalling 8 “item levels” or less). Consumables count as half-levels and are replaced frequently-ish to maintain total items’ power balance. Does that make sense?

Artifacts are outside this scale and none of us have any anyways.

Right?

@D.R.H. :

Can you move this thread back to the 'Berry and tell whatever Mod moved it here to take a shower, hit the weights and get a clue?

Still need it or you just using the new one?

D&D thread...didn't know this was a thing...neat.
