Nate really isn't dumb, he's just delusional about his abilities and instigates shit with fighters he has no business with. But he's mostly a chill guy with a great sense of humor who spends his money wisely. Just because you talk a certain way doesn't mean you're dumb

Mike Perry on the other hand is a dumb guy.
 
Diego Sanchez, earlier in his career he had a smarter approach though .
 
Many fighters aren’t the most articulate.
 
This isn't even Izzy hate btw, but I heard that he is super, super dumb. Like, learning disability dumb. I heard it from a couple of people that train at his gym.
Seems like a nice dude in the gym though, and this is coming from a die hard Izzy hater. He has a good rep as a teammate.

Listening to Perry’s post fight interviews after his Mickey Gall fight it’s clear to me he is a real professional, he may have a somewhat ignorant exterior but he has a decent head on his shoulders when it comes to handing his career, he beat Mickey Gall with no corner, he was confident enough in his abilities to do that.

I vote war machine too. His ramblings are utter crap.

Nate isn't dumb, by not fighting he has brought in some massive paydays. His not a world champion quality fighter but somehow he gets the money as if he was. Honestly his fighting style doesn't make him great to watch either.

From what I understand, Palhares was even poorer, started working in the fields at a very young age and wasn't able to eat everyday. This can have a serious impact on the mental development of a child. But yeah, one of my former coach, who is Brazilian so there wasn't any language barrier, met him and said that he was pretty much retarded.

Not it even making fun of the guy not eating well during childhood can cause problems in the brain development, but he doesn't talk like a person from a poor background, he sounds straight up not very well of his mental faculties

Nick and nate aren't stupid.. it's easy to think so but they aren't.. both has made a far better career than many champions.. they just speak in a way and carry themselves in a way that pisses off those who think intelligence is eloquence and conformity..

Luke rockhold on the other hand.. all he had to do to be one of the most popular fighters ever is to just shut up.. looks, style, finishes, belt etc and everytime he speaks he fucks up.. no wonder bisping had a field day..

Like someone said (kudos to that guy) even rockholds body hates his brain.. that's why he always gets up in dazed mode to line himself up for that finishing blow that separates him from conciousness completely..
 
I don't think nate diaz is stupid. I think him and his brother go too hard on their little persona or whatever but the dude is quick witted even though he sounds like a moron.
 
As talented as he is, there's no way Luke Rockhold has an IQ above 85
