Isn't he fighting Ismael Bonfim? He almost certainly loses that one.

Same conclusion I came to. A lot of people were pooh-poohing that match-up because Ismael is being thrown into the deep end for a DWCS alumni/UFC debutante and on paper he is. But analyzing it stylistically I think Ismael is the more polished product and more disciplined fighter of the two. McKinney has many of the physical gifts to be a great fighter, but his mindset and self-proclaimed unwillingness to change anything about the way he fights means he'll never be more than a fringe Top 15 guy at most given current trends IMO.

Lots of LWs did that....Gaethje and to some extent Ferguson and Chandler. The latter two had the reflexes to defend themselves better when they were young, but not so much now. But "just bleed and eat shots to take shots" seems to be a thing for many LWs in their 30s. You can even add Conor, Charles and Dustin if you want. None of them are youthful any more, but they often fight like it.
