Dumb question lol

Sort of a dumb question, but I was just wondering if it is alright to swim in fight shorts, more specifically sprawls. Not in a swimming pool, but at the beach?

yea they are fine. I wear my clinch gear's to the beach all the time.

be careful at pools though, my old sprawl rashy couldnt handle chlorine and it destroyed the material, dunno how fight shorts respond in chlorine water, especially the new material you'd have to consult with SPRAWL on that.

Did u actually wear it in or were u throwing it in there for a quick clean, because I use to do that with my lacrosse equipment for a quick clean.

I wish someone started this thread earlier! I was wondering a couple of weeks ago as I packed for the beach Memorial Day weekend. I didn't wanna risk hurting my Sprawls or Sinisters so I just went with my old Hawaiian flower board shorts.

I'm not too sure how the G-Flex's grip panels will react in salt-water, so I wouldn't wear them to swim at the beach. The split seams would look awkward anyway. Maybe the closed seam V-Flex would be fine.

Nogi and Hitman, and other brands with the more traditional board short feel, I'd definitely feel comfortable wearing to the beach and swimming in.

On a serious note:
Ive swam in my Sprawls, both Inspirit shorts, Vale Tudo shorts and my RVCA BJ Penn shorts (which I got for free, suckers) in a lake and in the ocean and it did no harm to any of the shorts.
