Funniest thing I ever saw in theatres was Team America opening night. That was an insane experience. I've never been in a theatre like it. Packed theatre and people were literally on the floor laughing at parts.

Yeah it was unreal when I saw it as well. Most massive audience laughter reaction I’ve seen in a theater to this day.

There’s Something About Mary and Dumb and Dumber were likely second and third on that measure.

i have watched dumb and dumber a hundred times on tbs, and honestly, i'd watch it 100 more times if i had to, gladly. i don't get sick of it, i enjoy the gags that much that i'm happy to see them again. the sequel though, should have left it alone. god that infuriated me when it came out and i watched it.

No. It’s good. But The Naked Gun is still the best comedy of all time. And maybe Movie 43.

Its like you kids have never seen It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World before.

Borat on opening night was up there with Team America as well. Audience was dropping dead left and right

Definitely in my utmost echelon, but I consider all them equally great. I'm not the type that pics out a favorite that stands apart from the pack, but a group of favorites.
Dumb and Dumber, The Three Amigos, The Burbs, Big Trouble in Little China, Wet Hot American Summer, classics like Harold Lloyd's The Freshman, and the Marx Brothers' Duck Soup, What About Bob, and a bunch more have guaranteed laughs from me so I consider all of them top tier.

Caddyshack, A Fish Called Wanda and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels are the first three that come to mind that are funnier.

I've always considered this my favourite comedy since I saw it when it first came out to blockbuster. I have probably watched this at least 30 times or more in my life and its hilarious every single time.

Do you agree? If not what is the best or your favourite comedy movie.
It is in my all time top 5 movies and easily the movie I have watched to most times.

Great movie. Can't imagine it being in my top of anything list tho lol.

Prime Lauren Holly was good looking

My favourite comedy of all time so yeah, i'm in. I watched it at the cinemas when we had a day off school, about 20 school mates all pissing ourselves stupid, the scene where he lights his fart got a massive pop from us 13 year olds ha ha

The Burbs is absurdly under rated.

Probably one of my top 5 in all genres to be fair.

American comedy is all about slapstick and visual gags and less about actual good writing. When you rejoin the empire we can finally teach you how to use English.
