I just remembered (in a dream, no less) a setup my old coach (former Iranian national team) showed us for the duck under
I can't believe I forgot it because it's so strong. Basically instead of trying to do the duck under from a collar tie up by pushing the elbow you instead put your hand on the front of his shoulder and use your elbow to rotate it away from his body.
The elbow push isn't a bad setup as, far as I know for shots, but for the duck under it always seemed, well a bit weak. Maybe I never worked it enough, I don't know. But by virtue of being on the inside and using a strong rotation motion I'm able to clear the path way easier.
Is there a name for this technique? Am I just missing something as to why its not commonly shown?
