Decent new series, especially the episode on 'mamba' ( a synthetic cannabinoid). That's some fucked up stuff and it's completely legal.
 
I read the title and looked at your av in the thread list and thought I was going to see a bigger version of your av as some sort of map. Leaving disappointed
 
Is Mamba similar to K2/Spice?

Cuz that shit is fucking horrible in every way possible.

Of course they have actual cannabis haha, but I think the mamba (or whatever variation) is cheaper and obviously the fact that it is legal makes it easier to get.
 
I get my high on at night. I also drink like a fish. I'm no one to pass judgement on how a fool chooses too live theirs lives, their choices ect....I've had buddies get all wrapped up into different addictions. I had to bury a couple of them. I'm not sure what separates those who can manage their intoxicants and those who can't?

Again I'm a daily drinker and pot smoker. I have a wife of over 20 years and 3 kids. Good job,nice home,ect...Why problematic sometimes, I've managed to live a happy life with a lot of laughs. It's heartbreaking watching folks piss their lives away entirely chasing an empty existence.

Yeah, but those clowns looked like "slightly" better fed meth heads....Fuck hardcore drugs man. Pills included.
 
I'm fucking old so certain types of drugs scare the fuck out of me. Like cocain,heroin,meth, ect...That shit can kill ya just fucking around on a Friday night. I haven't done hardcore street drugs in over 25 years. I've tried just about everything accept X. Fuck this synthetic shit, makes folks age in dog years. The real victims are the folks that love them.

Damn, I had never heard of Mamba before watching that video. The fact that it is legal is terrifying. Those dudes look like legit crackheads.
 
I do not want to start my own thread just to ask this little questions, so here it goes here.

If you take a hallucinogen, do you still know you took the hallucinogen and are hallucinating while suffering the effects of said hallucinogen? Or are you completely out of it, and unaware that its all fake?

That's actually a funny question. Let me preface this with the statement that I haven't taken any sort of narcotics or hallucinogens for about 13 years. Good. Cleared that up.

It's common to let people know when. They're about to trip for the first time that they need to remain aware that they're tripping. Like, literally, put a sticker on your shirt with "I'm tripping" so you and people around you know what's up.

It's not uncommon to feel like you're slipping down into a wormhole of deconstructing logic and understanding, and often just breathing and reminding yourself that you're on acid/mushrooms/whatever can be a strong remedy to the mental spin.

Well I have only used LSD and some entheogens (morning glory and HBWR seeds, which weren't that visual) but on those, yes you are very self-aware. It's not like you fall into a stupor or a dreamlike state, if it's a bad trip at times it can start to feel like you are becoming 'trapped' in some awful mental loop forever, but you can pull yourself out of it by just reminding yourself, or having someone else remind you that "you have taken acid, it's just the effects of the drug, it will pass etc". On high doses people experience what is called "ego death", but I have never experienced that.

Other psychedelics are different though, DMT is the most powerful psychedelic drug there is and from what I have read it just knocks you out for a ludicrously intense 15 minutes or so.

Depends a lot on what you've taken. Some drugs can make you so high to a point where you aren't in control of your mind and what's happening.

But then with the DMT are you conscious or unconscious, and the hallucinations take the form of a dream or nightmare?

In other words can any Hallucinogen actually make you go Old Man Logan, and wipe out your family because you think they are bunch of Tolkien-esque Orcs?

I don't know, I am not a hugely experienced drug user. I think meth can fuck you up and make you believe you are actually seeing things but I have never used that, don't know anyone who has and I would never even consider it. In the case of DMT, again just from the many trip reports I have read, you would not be going anywhere at all, nevermind attacking someone.
