What? No. You can't just wiretap anyone at random because you've wiretapped someone close to them.

Manafort was wiretapped for reasons unrelated to the campaign, back in 2014. This resulted in a criminal investigation that resulted in new domestic wiretaps being opened, which spanned the course of the campaign. This neither implicates or vindicates trump (well it makes trump look like an ass for his "i pick the best people and totally vet them". It's a separate investigation. I'm not sure how you're having trouble with this.

'Maybe Russia could find those deleted emails' or whatever crap he said to Hillary was just another instance of Trump trolling Hillary. Had that been a real plea for help I hope he isn't stupid enough to do it on live TV.

The man's campaign was successful in part to the last minute kick given to him by Hillary and her BS scandals. Gotta remind the masses at every turn

I feel pretty confident that Manafort and Flynn will be convicted of things.
It will be interesting to see what they can prove.
I have little doubt that Trump was involved in Russian business dealings and financing.
It's like a puzzle that's only missing a few pieces at this point, you can tell what the big picture is.

It's obvious they've got Flynn for sure, he's been begging for immunity for months, but they keep telling him to fuck off.

So not only is Flynn nailed, they have something else that makes Flynn irrelevant.

It's not as if Manafort just materialized one day during the campaign on Trump's doorstep, and talked his way in (though to be fair, that sounds plausible). Trump knew what he was buying.
