Drip.. Drip.. Drip.. Manafort was wiretapped

So the NSA were listening in on the Russians and picked up Manafort in 2014 when he got on their payroll (which he lied about). They opened up a criminal investigation on him, and kept wiretaps opening.

And somehow, drumphers are calling this a win because it validates Trump's "they wiretapped trump tower" (which they didn't).

Fuck this is just sad.
It's as if they can't read an article.

Funny how wingnuts love Russia yet complain about Bernie. They worship Putin who's ex-KGB and wants to return Russia to the past, but become psyched out capitalists when a democrat mentions healthcare <45><45><45><45>

Nothing, which is why I consider Putin favorable over most western leaders. Did you misread?

You don't like communism, but favor Putin over most western leaders....?

I'm sure you don't advocate Putin's actions as a communist ruler, that's one thing the US has always been very united about, whether right or left leaning. Corruption, murders, etc, way worse than any western leader could get away with. I'm just curious why you think so highly of him

So does this mean that trump was right when he said he was wiretapped?
Yes.

The president has now been completely vindicated in this instance.

Manafort was living in Trump Tower at the time of the wiretap.

Therefore, any electronic communication between Manafort and President Trump (then candidate Trump), has now been proven to be wiretapped.

A presidential candidate was being wiretapped by his political opposition. This is a scandal of the highest order. Coincidentally, the only people that won't see this as a scandal will be partisan Democrats, and a few "wannabe moderates" (a.k.a. Democrats in sheep's clothing).

Wouldn't any illegally obtained evidence be thrown out though? It looks like someone thinks they can act on the info gained from the wiretapping.

If they had enough for an indictment from the wiretap, the raid of his home wouldn't have been necessary.

I'm willing to bet a silver dollar that Manafort isn't indicted on anything Russian collusion related. I'm guessing he's going to get nicked by some obscure tax law.

This is a political witch-hunt. The left needs a witch to burn, they don't care who, and they don't care how.

NO , it does not.

Trump's own DOJ said there is no evidence for the wiretapping claims Trump made.
It's just been proven that Manafort was wiretapped within Trump Tower.

President Trump has been completely vindicated in this instance.

I suppose, but didn't the DOJ just conclude that Trump Tower was not wiretapped?

Even if it's legit, they're going to look pretty flip floppy on the credibility of their official findings.

Well let's expand on your logic here for a second. So one of two scenarios come out of this-

Either they were "wiretapping" Manafort and he did something illegal during the election, which they would have been able to immediately get another warrant for Trump if it related to Russia collusion.

Or

They "wiretapped" Manafort and didn't find any evidence of collusion with Russia and Trump was wrong that he was "wiretapped" because there was no evidence against him.

BTW lol at you still symantics arguing. Shows how weak your stance is.

Say "Ok Google" to your Android phone...

We've all been wiretapped, what makes these fools so special?

My guess is "C"

The wiretap gave nothing but circumstantial evidence open to interpretation, so the authorities went judge shopping until they could find a judge that would grant them a search warrant of Manaforts house. Manafort will likely be charged with some obscure tax law, and nothing to do with any supposed Russian collusion, so the Democrats can at least pat themselves on the back and tell themselves that they got someone for something.

...the Democrats can at least pat themselves on the back and tell themselves that they got someone for something.

I wouldn't put it past some of them to want revenge for the Republicans doing the same thing to Bill Clinton

Didn't Obama and the FBI vehemently deny wiretapping any members of Trump's team?
