Wow. Great thread, thanks for the effort. As strange as this sounds, I'm most looking forward to Zootopia. I love movies I can watch with my daughter and the sloth trailer had me laughing out loud for the full two minutes

The sloth scene had me rolling. Can't wait for this to come out.

Thanks again for the insane amount of work you put into this, DL.

Wow, Rogue One has a great cast.

And Cobie Smulders in Jack Reacher, should be good

This thread should be stickied. So much time and care put into it should be locked up top imo. Great stuff as always DL.

Thanks for the encouraging words, everybody. :)

Updated the OP with the full schedule for the movies of 2016.

Dragon, seriously, you're amazing.

Is it just me or is Felicity Jones starring in 50% of 2016 releases?

Felicity Jones has 4 upcoming movies in 2016. Impressive.
Collide
Inferno
A Monster Calls
Rogue One

Last year, it was Alicia Vikander. And in 2011, Jessica Chastain had 7 movies.

the Eddie the Eagle movie looks really fun, will take the wife to it. she has a massive crush on Eggsy, and has a thing for dorks and glasses so this is like massive spank bank material for her...

probably make it a massive date night to get some action out of it haha

as always brilliant work DL

Dragonlord, you are the greatest, thank you for the huge effort!

There are several good movies I'm looking forward to see this year, I am curious about "Fantastic beasts...", it could be a nice HP spin-off.

Director: Duke Johnson, Charlie Kaufman (Synecdoche, New York)

Cast: David Thewlis, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Tom Noonan

Rotten Tomatoes: 97% Approval Rating (69 out of 71 critics like it)

Critics Consensus: Anomalisa marks another brilliant and utterly distinctive highlight in Charlie Kaufman's filmography, and a thought-provoking treat for fans of introspective cinema.

Hard to say. After all the disappointment of 2015, the supposed biggest year for big releases in movie history.... I don't really know. Pretty much the only movie that wasn't disappointing in some way was Mad Max.

I meant to click on Xmen but Deadpool was highlighted for some reason ffs

I'm interested in Deadpool too, but really into Xmen.

Also the Marvel movies, Cap 2 and Strange

Dr. Strange and Rogue One are mine. Surprised both aren't on the list. Curious about Warcraft too. Hopefully it and ass creed start a video game movie renaissance.

Surprised Rogue One isn't on the poll. I think it would be one of the most anticipated movies of 2016. Probably one of the biggest (if not the biggest) at the Box Office either.

I've never really cared for super hero movies, but I'm excited for the Batman/Superman film. Even with the insane amount of comic book movies 2016 looks promising.

Most anticipated in no particular order:

Zootopia
Mojave
X-men apocalypse
Hail Caesar
Conor4real
Batman v. Superman
Sausage party
Patient zero
Rogue one
Moana
Suicide squad
The girl on the train
Bourne
Jack reacher
the magnificent seven
The accountant

Also, @Dragonlordxxxxx, I'm not sure if The Last of Us was your thread or not, but do you have any updates on it?

I'm really hoping Assassins Creed would be a good movie, but history has proved game movies don't turn out well. I'm a bit more hopeful about Warcraft because of the director but not a big fan of warcraft. I'm probably most anticipating the new Bourne movie. Now that Damon and Greengrass are back it should be great.

Edit: After Going through all the movies, I have to add the new movies by John Hillcoat, Mel Gibson and Shane Black

My bad. Rogue One was supposed to be among the list but it got accidentally bumped off when I included "Others." Rectified it.

Also having doubts on Assassin's Creed. Maybe swap it with Doctor Strange? I dunno.

X-men>Suicide Squad>Deadpool>Assassin's Creed>Warcraft>Cap. Murica>Bourne>Star Wars>BvS

If Cap. Murica would be like Winter Soldier I'd have much higher expectations, but I've got a feeling it's gonna be more like Age of Ultron.
