I googled it real quick and I didn't see much discussion about it so what say you? Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z? Which is better? I've seen all of Dragon Ball and I enjoyed it a lot. How good is Dragon Ball Z? Is it worth watching?

It is hard for me to compare the two shows. I like both of them nearly the same.

My issue with Dragon Ball Z is that alot of the important characters in the Original Dragon Ball take a back seat and either have a greatly diminished role or just forgotten altogether , still alot of fun but the Anime Shows its age and also some of the episodes have great art and animation while others were just straight up lazy.

I remember after watching Dragon ball, especially after the last few episodes, I NEEDED more. I knew about Dragon ball z but never really watched it until I finished dragon ball and since I knew of characters like Piccolo it got me hyped to find out what happens next with Goku and Piccolo after Goku smashed King Piccolo. Anyway enough with my nerdiness, WATCH DRAGON BALL Z, ITS WORTH IT!

I agree, all the characters that gave Goku challenges in Dragon Ball were shit compared to Goku in Z but they did give us great characters like Vegeta and ALOT more intensity and excitement in Z.

Which was your favorite saga?

Its a tie between The Frieza Saga and the Cell Saga. I liked the cat and mouse of Namek and for Gohan and Krillen while having to wait on Goku even joining forces with Vegeta just to survive, and of course Goku's super saiyan turn and his mockery of Frieza at the end. For the Cell Saga it felt like over the top Scifi at times, Time Travel , Androids , Genetic Monsters, and I like how it flowed.
