I'm going to be at UFC 211 so win or lose it should be a great time. Definitely going to get more than normal, hopefully it works out for the best

I know a lot about Cub Swanson, and knew it was unlikely that he'd get the finish against Lobov.

Cub slows down after R2 in his fights, and Lobov has a sick good chin. Also, Lobov has good submission defense and Cub's submission skills aren't good even though he's supposedly a black belt in BJJ. Cub's take downs aren't good either, and relies on his throws that he landed once against Lobov during the last 30 seconds of R5.

As long as Lobov's cardio held up, I expected 90+ significant strikes (since Cub slows down and it's a 5 round fight, he'd be willing to eat a lot more strikes, which he always does). That being said, his cardio went to shit after he was taken down in R3 and he was much less active in R4 and R5, which he admitted to being the reason for him getting tired. He ended up landing 123 significant strikes and 2 TDs (71.5 points), but was too tired in the second half of the fight and allowed people who picked Cub to get 156.5 points from his 209 significant strikes, 2 TDs, and 4 advances.

Poirier Alvarez ending in the fashion it did probably screwed a lot of ppl over in a bunch of leagues. Wouldn't have mattered here since the high score this week was ridiculous

Poirier getting robbed hurt all of my teams, but then it didn't matter much in the end since I was super confident in JDS and didn't expect him to still put his back against the cage and essentially give Miocic an easy target.
 
so did this event not get filled then I guess?

We should make the events smaller to make people want to play. Reverse the psychology to make it hard to get a spot...
