Social media has been nothing but cancer on the whole world, a net negative. You have random village idiots spouting whatever shit they read online, and peddling them as some kind of facts (flat earth theory, vaccines are bad theory, etc). Not to mention all the foreign actors (Russian/Chinese/US/Israeli/UK governments) trying to peddle their own bullshit narratives.

Twitter/X/Facebook is a cesspool of misinformation and hate speech - doesn't matter who runs it, it will always be shit due to the nature of these sites.
