Brazil seems pretty good in MMA still. The country seems like it's going to shit though. Hard times here!

FYI: MMA legends lose, it happens. Conor, Ronda, Van Zant and Sage all lost, although being big stars in the UFC.

The brazilians stars all looked infinitely better than any of those during their primes.

Aldo 9 title defenses
Spider 10 title defenses
Machida 16-0 run and won the UFC belt
Shogun Pride and UFC champ
Minotauro Pride and UFC champ
JDS, Werdum, RDA, Barao, Belfort all many wins over top competition and won the UFC belt

All these fighters looked like monsters during their respective reigns.

Compare any of those to the current UFC stars and it show how the old brazilian guard were beasts.

I think it has to do with other countries around the world catching up, when u talk about MMA.
This is normal, just look at what is going on with many weight classes and how few champions actually hold on the belt for any duration (Mighty Mouse is the exception).
