Auto companies deserved to be bailed out considering how important they are.

Also its not as morally hazardous as the bailout to the banks but you were looking at millions of people losing their savings.

They didnt' need a bailout. The investors and executives deserved to lose their ass. Someone or group would have come in and bought them out of liquidation, and continued to operate them. All it did was ensure the political donors were rewarded
