That's one hit protection, where you won't die to a hit as long as you have at least 30 HP. It will leave you with 5 HP instead and then you die to the next hit. Eternal has it too but it sounds like they took it out in this patch.View attachment 1096099

I definitely had several moments through the campaign where I couldn’t believe I wasn’t dead. I saw my health at 5 and could've sworn I got hit.
Without one hit protection this game might actually be harder. In Eternal only one enemy at a time could target you but in TDA there are always multiple projectiles coming from all over. I was dying like crazy in the abyssal forest last night and had no idea why. That change would explain it.
