Not true, athletes have gotten exemptions for making it to MLB and a pro soccer. If he won a belt he would almost assuredly get an exemption

I don't think this is true. If it is, I've never heard of it. The only time I heard of a Korean baseball player getting an exemption is if the player won gold at the Asia Games or at the World Baseball Classics.

not true. they get exempted only when they win medals at the olympics and the asian games. there have been a few exceptions like winning the world baseball classic and making it to the semi finals of the world cup some years ago. if the sport doesnt give medals, no exemption.
