Don't the last few years in MMA make you appreciate GSP more?

No steroid crap as far as we know, always classy and humble, always improving, pretty much the prototype for the embodiment of a martial artist.

No, glad he's gone. Not a fan of his style. He's a good man though wish him the best.

GSP got out just before USADA took over, smart man.

I've always appreciated him but MY GOD I wish he would have put somebody away.

His fights always bored me.

GSP argued for more testing and then left the sport before the enhanced testing began.

Fuck no, GSP retired right when he found out the strict testings were coming, keep playing it safe greasy boy.

Gsp got out over a year before Anderoid and Roid Jones failed tests, which were the events that led to usada testing. So no, it was nearly two years after gsp left when usada took over.

Without GSP competing under the same testing as Jones and Anderson, i can't proclaim him completely clean. He's an amazing fighter, but to sit back and say, "man I'm glad GSP never juiced like these other guys" when he wasn't tested the same is dishonest.

False. GSP asked for stricter testing months and months before he retired, but the UFC didn't give a shit. In fact, the UFC started to give a shit in early 2015 only, after Jones and Silva pissed hot.. then came the UFC anti-doping program, or whatever you call it.

As far as I remember, GSP even paid with his own money for more testing, before the Hendricks fight

Funny how haters rewrite history sometimes :)

TS got it right: Besides being the GOAT fighter GSP also was the best ambassador for the sport, a classy guy and a great role model. He is heads and shoulders above everyone else in the game.

He still left right before it and has been just 'talking' about returning. Let's see if he actually returns, probably just bullshit tbh

It’s not a fair comparison since he hasn’t competed under the new program. But those saying GSP got out “right before” USADA took over are beyond stupid.
