Don't judge me, BUT, can you enjoy a UFC from the nosebleeds?

I'm kinda tight on money right now and I'm looking to buy 2 UFC tickets. Nosebleeds are Nosebleeds, but I've heard people say you get the best view from there. So what's your thoughts. Would I be wasting my time? I can afford tickets. It's just all the taxes and other bs thrown on top of it make it a little harder.

And yes, I am poor folks.

The WEC event I went to, I got the cheap seats because it was with seven of my buddies. It was hard to see anything so we had to watch the screen. We could see right down into the cage, but they were like ants. The enjoyable part of the event wasn't the actual event (which was a good time too) but the energy of the arena, the fighters and celebrities we got to meet, and the experience.

Funny story, Pat Barry was sitting in the row in front of us, and we ended up talking the fights with him for at least a half hour. It was pretty awesome. Rumble sat down with him and we all hung out and drank beer and watched the fights. Talk about surreal experiences.

I was up in the boxes for Jones vs Machida, had a good time, good view. I was able to hear a lot too.

Tbh I like watching from my couch the best. Best camera angles, most comfortable seats, no drunken assholes around (other than my friends), way cheaper, etc. Plus the camera guys and cage actually limit your view of the fight live, so I usually end up watching the screen anyway. Just my opinion though

No matter where you sit, you'll end up watching the screen a lot. If you want to go to an event, I wouldn't overly stress losing out by getting cheap seats, you aren't.

Depends on the venue. For example, nosebleeds at MGM Grand, you still have a decent view since the arena slopes more upwards than out (steep)

Mandalay Bay on the other hand, not as high but put pushes out incredibly far to where it's pretty hard to see.

Been to several live events and I can say, without reservation: It depends on what venue you go to. Places in Vegas like Mandalay Bay, MGM, etc - mid bowl is the best unless you are cageside. Places like the American Airlines Center in Dallas - best seats are probably right behind press row (had seats there during the last event that were relatively cheap). In other venues with amphitheater style seating like in Newark, New Jersey, the nosebleeds are definitely the best due to the steep, unobstructed view inside the cage.

It depends on the venue I guess. I went to UFC 178 at the MGM Grand, and there wasent really a bad seat in the house. I believe I was in row 24 and It was a great view.

You'll wind up watching the big screen more than anything, which you can do at home or a bar.

Yeah it isn't too bad, I've been to a few events and it was still a pretty fun experience since I came with a good crowd.

I'm trying to go to the next UFC on fox in Chicago at the United center. i was at the United Center in December for a concert.

I'm sure the view is waaaaayyyy better at home. but there's still something about seeing an event live. i've only been to a strikeforce and an ifl and some local shows

I have been to a few events and never get great seats. Go with friends and the seats won't matter.

It's fun in the nosebleeds, don't get me wrong. Plus you can always sneak down into a lower section if you're vigilant. Depends on the price. Any higher than $150 just doesn't sound worth it. Being on the rail up in the nosebleeds can be one of the best seats in the house.

I was in the nosebleeds for UFC 187 and had floor seats for UFC on fox 12 and both were similar sized arenas and I'd say hands down my 187 seats were 10 times better than my floor seats. From the top you get a view from the top of the cage and if you have trouble seeing you have a huge screen right in front of you. On the floor your at the same level as everyone else and kind of have to bob and weave through people's heads and the screen you have to look directly up

if i was just buying tickets for myself i could afford to go a little more expensive. but since i'm paying for 2 I have to budget. yeah i wouldnt spend 150 on a ticket right now either. maybe some other time.

I had decent seats height wise to a UFN but they were directly behind one of the camera platforms so I could only see the action live less than half the time. At least in the nose bleeds you don't have to strain your neck to see the tron.

And yes their is no seat like the one in your living room but nothing compares to the excitement of being there live

I was in the nosebleeds for Shogun Vera at Staples Center.

I watched most of it on the screens they had there but I could have watched in the cage as well. Nosebleeds at Staples are a good view.

It was the first UFC I went to, and it was awesome. The energy in the arena is electric man. Everyone is so hyped it's awesome. Get the tickets and gooooo

Absolutely. I have sat nosebleeds, the 7th row, and in between. The nosebleeds you get the crowd roaring and you will mostly watch the jumbotron when it hits the ground (its hard to see what they are doing) but it's better than on tv imo. I think the best bang for your buck is right about in the second deck to the front. The 7th row was too close for the ground battles (but awesome for stand up) and also hard to see what was happening since it's at eye level I also watched the jumbotron. The second deck front rows you are slightly elevated looking down and can see the stand up and ground wars up close but the tickets were like $300 or something like that which again is the best bang for your buck imo. But, if you are on a budget or want to blow your $$ elsewhere in vegas the nosebleeds are fine.
