Donna Brazile turns

Lol the funny part is most of those kids won't get real jobs with their shitty liberal arts degree I assume most private employers see liberal arts on a resume and trash it ASAP

I hire people and when I see "Sociology" or some other critical theory BS on a resume it goes in the trash immediately.

I've been saying this forever like other posters on this forum and then we were ridiculed as "conspiracy theorist". Told us that "rigged" wasn't the correct word and it turns out it was/is.
Dude chill out. I can always be convinced to change my view once more facts came out. Prior to this everything I was reading was speculative. Now it looks like people I respect like Warren are saying it was rigged in Hillary's favor.

this was just a crazy ass election, period

Trump outta left field, wins despite literally all odds
HRC has to essentially cheat to beat Bernie Sanders, a relatively no name SEN that has accomplished exactly jack and shit and also came outta left field, and had little to no substance behind his actual message

Insane to think about really

speculative in the same way Harvey Weinstein claims were speculative. Coincidentally, Harvey and Clintons have been BFF's forever.

BTW, Donna Brazile leaked the debate questions to HIlary, she's in on this, funny that she's pretending to be something else. Must have presidential aspirations or something. Book sale probably not the end game here.

What does Harvey Weinstein have to do with anything? Fuck that guy.

You believed the Democrats when they told you that it wasn't rigged but it was stolen from you by Russia. The People to your left showed you evidence and shouted at you that the fix was in before the Democratic national convention and yet we were the unreasonable ones.

Just admit you were wrong and the Democrats not only stole the primaries from Bernie Sanders but they gift wrapped the country Donald Trump on a platter.

Well you fucking should. I know for a fact you like to hate on Donald Trump and how pathetic his current presidency and cabinet is and are quick to scream "Russia", yet you cosign the Democratic Party sabotaging the guy who would have beaten him. There is literally no point for a primary if this type of bullshit is going to happen. But more importantly every time somebody like myself or @Anung Un Rama or @HomerThompson tried to tell you idiots otherwise you were quick to not only paint us as tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist, but then try to shame us into saying that we didn't do our part in preventing a Donald Trump presidency. That's cowardice and spineless and you should own up to it.

It doesn't matter how emotional or adamant you get about your preference. I thought Clinton's platform was better. And no matter how injured you are by Sanders' unfair treatment, he was still an outsider threatening to take control of the party.

I don't believe anything without evidence, including stuff from some random dude in the WR. As more evidence comes to light I change my view. Fucking sue me.

And some personal advice for you, learn to accept and embrace people when you've changed their minds. Not saying you did personally, but this is generally a good thing to do. If all you got is "I told you, go fuck yourself" then we have nothing else to discuss.

As for the last part, I've said many times that I would have voted for Bernie with a huge smile on my face had he won the primary. But these developments do not make it a given Bernie would have beat Trump. I've said it before and I'll say it again that Bernie was have been depicted as the next Stalin and his policies would have been slammed.

It's only a matter of time before the Seth Rich story blows up again. Very similar situations. On one side, you have the DNC narrative, which is believed by most until disproved. And on the other side, you have all of the evidence that Seth Rich leaked the DNC emails to wikileaks and was murdered for it. When forced to balance statements vs. evidence, I go with evidence, no matter how trusted the source of the statements are. I don't blame you for sticking with the DNC hired spokesperson for the Rich family this long. But get ready to come around, because when someone in the know turns on this story, it will make this campaign money laundering look like stealing candy from 711.

Citizens United isn't really to blame here. That case only affected the ability of corporations, unions, etc, to engage in "electioneering communications" within 60 days of a general election (and any state laws with similar proscriptions at any time). That's it. All of the events Brazille detailed occurred many months before the general. Citizens was a natural extension of First National Bank of Boston v. Bellotti (where the SCOTUS held that corporations could make contributions to ballot campaign initiatives (1976)).

It gets a bad rap. I think it was correctly decided on First Amendment grounds.

This is wrong. You are missing completely the significance of Citizens United.

CU isn't the problematic case in itself. Its disastrous element is that it laid the groundwork for SpeechNow later in 2010, which eliminated expenditure limits which had existed for years since Buckley v. Valeo.

Post-CU (SpeechNow), limitless amounts can be donated to (very superficially, almost laughably so) independent expenditure funds which coordinate fairly openly with candidates. In fact, Hillary Clinton was one of the most brazen about her coordination with her PAC.

Yeah, there's no evidence for that claim though.

It is insane.
I remember thinking for years what a egomaniac Trump was every time he was on tv and then I'm driving to the poles thinking it's him or Hillary.

Can't make that shit up.

You're a sheep

Why do I care about internal party squabbles? If Bernie runs in 2020, I'll at least vote for him in the general and possibly in the primary so that's not like some kind of threat.

Because the Democratic primaries were stolen from the man who could've beaten Donald Trump and you denied it at every turn because of your pure ignorance and party allegiance to a bunch of corrupt corporatist. You could've voted for Sanders when that mattered in order to defeat Donald Trump. you probably don't like that line being told that you do?

No it took Donna Brazile to change your mind. I'm throwing it back at you because it was people like you who laughed when you were presented evidence of rigging in the primaries. Maybe apologize or admit you were wrong. Also, his supporter base was far more fervent than anything Clinton ever experienced so to say that he wouldn't have a better chance at beating Donald Trump (in the middle of a populist uprising in our country), is just foolish.

I don't get what your saying here. So anyone who signs up as a Democrat has to tow the party line and cant' try to change it whatsoever? What if Bernie had won as a democrat wouldn't that mean that being a democrat is changing and it's exactly what the democrats want? Shouldn't the democrats (as in the voters) get to decide who they want to win the primaries?

It sounds like what your saying here is that anyone who doesn't have what you consider policies in line with what current democrats want shouldn't be allowed to win the primaries. Regardless if it's what the people want or not.

Apologize for what? I explained that as information came out it changed my mind. I also told you that it was based on my reading and Elizabeth Warren coming out and saying it. And yeah, no offense, but DNC insiders carry more weight than you.

I really don't care to get into pissing matches on a MMA subforum. You win, happy?

I don't know if he would have had a better chance to beat Trump, it depends on how he campaigned, on how effective the GOP was at attacking him, etc.. I'm saying it wouldn't be the lock you thought it would be.

That's exactly what he thinks. He lets anyone with a capital D next to their name decide his thought processes. That's why these modern-day centrist Democrats are the definition of ineptitude because they have an utter inability to think outside the box in the midst of changing times and changing political environment.

I'm an ardent progressive and that's why I don't mind at all going hard on all these fools before they start their backpedaling.
