I'm boycotting the NFL until they get rid of Cr@kker Barrel as a sponsor. Down with mozzarella! Damned racist cheese.

I agree, racists suck. I also agree with their right to be stupid white trash fucks just as I support the right for NFL players to kneel if they want to. This is America, and protest is a huge part of our countries heritage. Also you're talking to the wrong person lol. I'm not a democrat. I voted for my boy Bernie in the primaries (he won in Oklahoma) and sat out the election. I'm registered Independent homie.

I'm confused, mainly because I watch very little professional sports or better said "entertainers that play sports for pay".

I recall CK doing his kneeling during the anthem skit and saying he did it...(here is where some of the confusion comes in for me)...because someone(s) were oppressed in the USA and that cops were killing people in the street like dogs...don't 100% recall if it was race related but think he was referring to black people....which doesn't make any factual sense at all..but whatever, as he is entitled to say and do what he wants including saying idiotic non factual things.

The current crop of protesters are basically saying fuck you to trump after he pretty much said fuck you to them....rather childish on both Trump and the players...but again, whatever.

Did I capture this version of Trump and some NFL teams drama correctly?

Oh Jesus... a Bernie bro... You realize Bernie was the biggest liar of the 3 candidates right? The fuckin guy promised you the moon with no clue how to pay for or pass any of it.

That being said, I commend you for not voting for the woman who colluded with the media and the dnc to rob Bernie of the nomination.


Trump didn't say they couldn't kneel. Just that they're complete pieces of shit for doing it. Free speech goes both ways.
 
I always thought it strange to play the national anthem before sporting events anyway. Like oh jeez, we are about to compete our asses off but first let's honor America. It's a subtle for of mind control or brainwashing.

Good for the players that want to take a knee and piss Trump off. Good for the owners to push back at the white house too.

I do not understand the angle of "Millionaires should not be allowed to protest"

I don't know that NBA and NFL players (besides maybe that Colin guy) are claiming to be oppressed but are standing up for what they perceive as the oppressed

Apparently you can't stick up for someone if you don't belong to that group? Wouldn't you have stuck up for the Jews in 1940s Europe even though you're not one? I certainly wouldn't have but I'm asking you.

The wall street speculation tax was a great idea, single payer healthcare fuck yeah, helping to cut corporate welfare leeches fuck yeah, pulling the military back and decreasing military spending fuck yeah. A new New Deal would have been great for our crumbling infrastructure.

A man who marched with MLK, who has stayed true to his cause his entire life opposed to ex democrat Trump who has flipped on almost every position he's ever had and flip floppin like a dead fish Hillary. His weakness was foreign policy sure, but to say he had no clue how to pay for it is silly and disingenuous.

Trump attacked the NFL as a whole childishly, he said they should be fired, today was their response to the president.

With the exception of Antifa beating the shit out of people they disagree with politically, there is nothing happening today that is even close to what happened to the Jews in 1940s. What we see today is that it has become incredibly fashionable to be an activist and people are now "protesting" with the purpose of being fashionable. Activism has become a superficial trend.
