I doubt it. As poor as his judgement has been, I don't think he's an asshole. I think he knows he deserves the ridicule, and if your friends aren't willing to tell it to you straight, they aren't really your friends
I am still hopeful that Jones can pick himself up and look for the right help to make a grown up out of himself, even if he never fights again.

If we see him offer to make genuine peace with Cormier in a year or two, we will know he has grown up. I'm not saying he'd have to do that, but if he does this I think we'd know we have a changed man.
