Don Frye has never regret his career

Frye was a tough man...and that as the origin of fighting...a lot of fighters today are athletes and businessmen/women. Their careers are optimized for making as much money as they can ... if for that theyll have to sue UFC they will, if they have to be UFC's little bitch-boy they will etc...its about the money, thats all
If you make 900 000$ on your last fight in UFC you better say "thank you Dana form providing my family"

Without a doubt. I only check the Heavies every now and then but I'd easily spot this can anywhere.

Well well. Don Frye did well here

Frye comes off the me as the type of guy who would have fought for free. He needed that outlet to be who he is. You can't be Don Frye without being able to kick someone's ass, and if you do that outside of MMA, you get locked up for it.

Don is a wild man

Seems like his body is pretty fucked from his fighting career though. Needs to get on DDP yoga or something judging by what it did for Butterbean

Dude is such an OG. from pride to being kod by doggy the bounty hunters bodyguard the man is the real deal and rep'd America to the max

Well, well indeed, my little nugget.

He did ok, Ycan. He did ok.

On whether he misses fighting: “I do. I really do. I had a lot of fun. The fans are fantastic. Fantastic fans. But the thing is, Dana White’s just ruined the sport. I got to thinking about it today and you know, he ruined it for me. I thought, ‘Why am I letting that asshole dictate my life and take all of the fun out of it for me?’ I just ignore him and go on with my life. I might climb back in the cage just because I finally say, ‘F--k it. Why let him ruin it?’ I just ignore him and go on with my own business.”

Dana White on Don Frye: 'Get a Job F**king Crybaby'

Don Frye is a tough guy and hard core fighter. There's no reason to wish death upon him like that. He fought people like Takayama who were on his level and it was epic.
If you're talking about him vs. prime Fedor or Couture as the TS mentioned, Frye vs. Couture in the late 90s would've been interesting, maybe a great fight. Randy was a bit bigger but Don was actually 2 years younger. Still, I think the modest size difference and Randy's wrestling (better than Frye's, who mostly liked to bang) would allow him to dictate where the fight went and win.

By the time Fedor started entering his prime (2004-ish), Frye was clearly too old and was pretty much just a brawler.

He did move to pro wrestling of course which was almost certainly because it paid better and I do think of think in retrospect MMA didnt treat him that badly, he got cashed in a bit at the end but not to the degree of some other big names of his generation and generally he was pretty beloved in Japan, I can imagine he made good endorsement money during the Pride peak era.

frye is based af and an old school american. of course he doesn't regret this. why would he? it was never about the money, it was about seeing who the best was at that time. bragging rights. now we got money rights, social media likes, all this other lame shit. frye is a man, amongst few men.
