I have absolutely no doubt about it.

The Dominator is just too fast, too skilled and too grappler to Conor be able to hang with him.

This fight might happen if:

- Conor loses again to Nate (which will happen)
- Conor reigns in the FW division (which is unlikely)
- Dominick reigns in the BW division

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be seeing this fight, but I leave it written here for the eternity

Conor going to FW and Cruz moving up would be cool. But if Conor goes back to FW, I want him defending his own belt before fighting another fight anywhere else. I'd give the fight to Cruz as well.

I'm the biggest Cruz supporter here, but I don't think he could take Conor's lucky charm bombs. He would definitely make Conor look silly for a little bit though. If he focused 100% on his unrivaled wrestling, then maybe.

Sorry, but no.

Dominick got knocked down twice by Urijah in their fight
Conor would knock the shit out of him when he catches him

I think people are underrating Conor after his embarrassing loss to Nate. I think McGregor would eventually catch Cruz and hurt him. Cruz is the man though. Hard to touch his butt. He could win via movement.

Cruz would definitely make him work. With his pace and Conor's energy inefficiency i can see an exhausted and mentally broken Conor become the plaything of Cruz after the first round.

Personally I think Conor would starch cruz & it wouldn't even be his toughest fight so far. Cruz is tiny & I doubt he could hurt Conor at all. That left hand would violate dominick's civil rights.

No....that powderpuff Cruz would get violently KO'd as soon as the first power punch landed. Considering Conor is a precision striker, that would happen sooner rather than later.

I would bet my life on Dominick beating Conor

Cruz is very elusive but he has no power to shake Connor. All Connor has to do is to try to corner him and unload at least a big one... However, Cruz is soooo elusive. Connor's size would negate Cruz overrated wrestling. Cruz is like GSP (in his prime) in the sense that his takedown timing is impeccable.

The casuals keep saying, IF HE GETS CAUGHT BY Conor, or WHEN HE GETS CAUGHT BY Conor. Yet those are two variables in every fight, saying Cruz was dropped by Faber, etc.. As their example and basis. MMA math is not realistic except in the mind of the casual. Reality is, we have seen Conor lose to smaller men prior to his Zuffa career, through submission. We have also seen Conor struggle on the feet and the ground with a smaller man in Mendes. And being that his L's are all by sub, plus watching the footage of those L's, we also see that Conor lacks the mental fortitude to overcome severe adversity within the cage, and gives up. Those variables make it realistic for anyone who is an unbiased fan of MMA or practitioner of Martial Arts, to comprehend that Cuz has a very big chance of beating Conor if the two were to ever fight. Conor could conceivably get frustrated trying to catch Cruz clean, that he tries to do something dramatic (like shoot on Nate Diaz), and Dom has some of the best MMA TDD and scramble ability in the game. Casuals also fail to realize, Dom would have much more power and possibly speed, at 145lb. A fight can go two ways, but to say Dom has no chance, etc.. Is highly delusional.
