I'd still pick a healthy Cruz over Barao.

Barao is incredible no doubt but Cruz won't play to Barao's strengths. I think Barao defends his interim title one more time before Cruz steps back in the cage.

Until then all I can do is laugh at those who think Cruz is going to eat a knee and lose consciousness. As if it's that easy. He's defended his belt four times and was probably going to do so again until his knee injury.

That being said, after 2+ years of not competing and then stepping into the cage against the clear #2 BW in the world...he has no chance.

I would take Cruz in a re-match but I would literally say Barao has a 99.9% chance of winning the first fight, ring rust is no joke.

Does anyone like the way Cruz fights? I don't understand how someone can like his style, besides the fact he wins so maybe he gets some glory hunting fans that way.

I find it impressive that Cruz has developed a unique style of fighting that is so successful. His fights usually have their moments.
