• Xenforo Cloud has scheduled an upgrade to XenForo version 2.2.16. This will take place on or shortly after the following date and time: Jul 05, 2024 at 05:00 PM (PT) There shouldn't be any downtime, as it's just a maintenance release. More info here

Dominick Cruz needs to let it go.

I can come up with less than a handful of UFC fights that I would consider late stoppages, but quite a few I would have liked to see continue longer to an undisputed stoppage. Come to think of it, it can't recall any defeated UFC fighter having ever complained that the ref let the fight go on too long?
Ronda was trying...

I find it funny when he does it cause I absolutely despise that cejudo stoppage. People act like it can be justified when it cant. YES, cruz got hurt by that knee, but if you rewatch the sequence, it wasn’t the knee that dropped him, he went down after a head clash with cejudo. Then, with 4 seconds left in a championship fight, peterson decides to stop it while cejudo is spamming mosquito punches. I hate that stoppage and it will never be justified to me, especially when cejudo was slowing down considerably
Lol nah fam.

Putting your comebacks in the mouth of a stranger to another stranger is even more lame than “winning” an argument in the shower a day after.
What about winning an argument online and revisiting it the next day to admire your handiwork?

Well yes, by that stage Conor had nothing for Khabib in every department
I'm going to disagree with you on that, I think it's the cardio factor that really hurt McGregor in that fight. Skill for skill, I'd say it's fairly equal. Striking, I definitely give an advantage to McGregor.

Every card he praises a ref for not stopping the fight early, I wish Bisping would say "Sometimes you have to stop the fight to protect the fighter, remember that time Cejudo was teeing off on you, that was a good stoppage."
I personally think that was a bad stoppage with Cruz and Henry, just my opinion.

Not to mention he was working to stand and got up by the time it was stopped.

Well since we've had a lot of horrible early stoppages lately. I agree with Dom. Fans like you are the worst lol

It still baffles me why the UFC puts him on the mic. He is their most insufferable commentator by far.

I was listening to him droning on about stoppages and thinking. "for a guy that spent his entire career injured, he sure hates it when refs try to prevent extra damage".

Also, "weary" means tired, Dom. The word you want is "wary".

He tries so hard to sound smart and always sounds so dumb. <lol>

How’s this even remotely controversial with the atrocious stoppages happening lately?

Jason Herzog just stopped a fight due to a flurry on a moving fighter lol.
