GSP too, didn't have many finishes compared to total fights and rarely finished any of the top opponents he faced. But yet, GSP and DJ are truly the only two who are up for GOAT status in MMA currently.
Other then Mizugaki, who barely broke the top 10 and was never elite to begin with.
Why do we put him on a pedestal when he can't even finish his opponents? He is a fantastic fighter, but he literally has no finishing power.

If you beat everyone in your division and everyone you’ve ever faced( up until his fight with neck tat guy) and are the champion it doesn’t matter about finishes. You had title contenders put in front of you and you beat them
When Floyd fought in his own Natural weight class he was a dangerous finisher. When he went up several weightclasses and had broken his hands several times he became less of a finisher. Don’t compare that with Cruz who is Bigger than everyone in his weight class And still can’t finish anyone.
