Cruz is def the best pound for pound fighter in the ufc right now. His striking technique and awesome wrestling abilities def puts him above all the rest. if you dont agree please name someone that is better, and please provide a good argument as to why you think that fighter is better. im very confident no one can match his abilities and intelligence in fighting.

it's definitely debatable. There is no blueprint to beating Cruz.

I am not impressed by his performance against TJ Dillashaw.

Doo ho Choi > Dominic Cruz x 10

far better striking skill.

Yea he's definitely not. JJ is. No explanation required.

He might be the most skilled. But he lacks physical gifts (like power, durability) that others do not that probably prevent him from being the best overall.

If Cruz had more power, you make a very convincing argument that he is the best.

But not having the power to end fights, combined with questionable durability, is a bad combination. Five round fights are grueling, and his body does not hold up well.

While we are in fantasyland: What if Cruz fought Jones in space, how would their respective weightlessness affect the fight. What if evolution had given Jones lobster claws and Cruz praying mantis-like raptorial legs, how would that affect the fight?

No fear from his opponents. The threat of a finish just isn't there. Have to agree with Faber on this one. Decisionator is a good nickname. Doesn't change his greatness, but I think jones is the man. Jones can fight anywhere and the fighters he has finished are a hall of fame wing in the lhw division.

He's pretty durable. I don't think I've seen anything that lead me to think he has a weak chin or a glass body.

He has power, but he rarely commits. Mizugaki has a pretty decent beard, and Cruz fucked him up.

Doo is a great fighter but i dont feel he can compare with doms abilities especially striking. Please explain why you think Doo is better. Thanks

Dominick Cruz' striking technique is terrible though...

He has great footwork/movement, and therefor efficient striking because he doesn't get hit himself, but his striking technique is not very good...

There are tons of people with better striking technique than Dom... Like TJ, Conor, Aldo, Frankie, Diaz, Condit, Cerrone, Gus, Rumble, etc...

When I think of P4P I think of who is the most well rounded and can finish the fight anywhere at anytime and the 3 fighters that come to mind is
1. Luke Rockhold
2. Demetrious Johnson
3. Jon Jones or Werdum

That's a good point. I mostly agree with the TS that Cruz is unique in his ability and technique, but there's one thing we all know is that he's extremely prone to injuries. I hope he's past that because I enjoy watching him fight.

jon jones is in no way the best p4p fighter. Please explain why you think so. thanks

Because if Cruz or Mighty Mouse had to fight under Pride rules they would lose their entire fight purses and wouldn't be invited back, and if they had to fight in a vale tudo fight of old their fights would never end.
