Does this incident give Max an advantage?

At such a high level things are very evenly matched. Fighters are always looking for every advantage they can get no matter how small, physical or mental.

I’m not sure how much it will decide or change the outcome of the fight... but this seems like a clear advantage for Max.

Although Khabib wasn’t directly effected by this shit show, he is definitely distracted.

How much of an advantage does this give Max staying under the radar with the ability to focus just on the fight ?

it certainly helps. khabib will have connor on the mind instead of maxpower. can maxpower take advantage of this, thats the real question.
