Movies Does The Wild Robot win an Oscar for best picture this cycle?

It's a fantastic movie.

The first time I watched it, when the raccoons go flying off the trees I fucking lost it. Fell out of my chair I was laughing so hysterically. Best laugh I've had since the squirrel puts his head in the dog's mouth from the short film episode off "Dougie Days" on Disney+ (a spinoff of the characters from Pixar's Up).

I have it right behind Road House

All jokes aside the cinematography of this film was freaking fantastic.

I’m not the type to be struck by animation movies. But this one hit me like a ton of bricks. I’m not sure why it didn’t do blockbuster numbers bc it’s a special movie

Late to the party but 100% this. My kids saw it with the wife when it came out and my 6 year old loved it but her synopsis didn't sell it very well: a robot goes into the forest and helps the animals and teaches a bird to fly. Grown up translation: this movie fuckin' sucks.

But I watched it last night with the kids and it was amazing. Roz running to help Brightbill fly but falling because her leg is damaged (and the other damage and wear she takes protecting her kid) had me tearing up. This is a special movie for sure and not sure why it didn't win more awards.

I Haven't been to a single movie this entire year and I have probably been going to theater movies since 1996. I may have unintentionally quit going to theaters. I might just return for dune 3.

Only good films I saw this year was F1. An even that wouldn't be top 10 in the 90s
My sentiments

The movie was the best of the year but I’d only watch that in IMAX. It was an IMAX experience only
