My 9 yr old son is really into the books, and even for a grown man they're an intriguing quick read tbh. The movie really didn't portray many of the details in the first book accurately at all. Very disappointing and confusing why they didn't just follow the storyline.

I saw the trailer and thought it would be a movie I would like but then it came and went in the theater and I never got around to watching it.
