Social Does the UFC have a political leaning?

It is a sport built around individualism, extreme work ethic, usually country life, and testosterone. Yeah, its pretty right of center. Get over it.

I would say MAGA, but even American citizens are repping other flags, so I guess not?!?

Easy there buddy, did this post really trigger you that hard snowflake? Does colby mog your entire existence?
Oh whitebelt. Throwing the term snowflake around when it's actually conservatives who get all butthurt about everything. The entire Fox news channel is nothing but a bunch of whiners complaining about other news and how they treat Trump. Bunch a goddamn snowflakes right there.

As a non American I find it confusing how politics can be so clearly cut as right or left.

I guess with those two options, there is a fairly high chance that a bunch of notable UFC fighters are on the right/left.

Democrats in NY fought the UFC their whole lives (pun intended), I kinda understand UFC not being too interested on them. It was more the influence of Sheldon Silver (D-NY, now arrested) than anything.

But that is as an organization, nothing to do with what fighters think.

I watch MMA because I hate politics.

Let Trump and Bernie bang, bro.

I know Paulo Costa, Dos Santos, Aldo, and a bunch of other Brazilians support Bolsonaro who is basically Trump x10. They would be considered right wing . Masvidal also supports Trump

DFW seems to sway with the political climate. I’ve only seen him kiss the ass of the party in control of the White House, congressional or governor level. I recall him stating nice things about Pres Obama and Senator Harry Reid as well as more recently Pres Trump.

Maybe I'm being paranoid but I cant get over the fact that the UFC seems to lean fairly right-wing. A lot of UFC champions seem to lean that way.

Obviously Dana gave his full support to Trump during the RNC in 2016
Chris Weidman is open Pro-Trump
We all know about Colby
Miesha Tate is Republican and Pro Trump
Daniel Cormier has never been super open about his political beliefs but he has appeared on Stever Crowder's show talking about 'family strength' in a very conservative pull yourself up by your bootstraps kin of way.
Jon Jones is so obviously right-wing too.
Tim Kennedy and Donald Ceronne arent champions but they are both popular and very outspokenly conservative and huge trump supporters.

The only big anti trump fighter I can think of Tyron Woodley and he is not exactly the most popular.

The only difference I'm seeing with regards to the UFC is that right wing fighters (and Joe Rogan to an extent, who's really more of an enabler than an entrenched political figure) publicly gobble up Trump's cock whenever they manage to win, whereas the people we can assume to be Left either stay silent and bide their time (Sanders 2020) or are still stuck to politically correct whining and moralizing which, the faster they throw off like the dead-weight it is, the faster they can restore their dignity and fighting spirit.

Think Werdum smashing Colby's head in with a boomerang vs Woodley's toothless complaining about being sidelined and ignored.

A lot of online hyping of fighters is similar to the Bernie Sanders & Ron Paul campaigns in that people will inflate how likeable or widespread the support could potentially be if Dana gives Billy no name some promotion.
