Does Stipe's lack of verbal charisma make him charismatic?

The strong silent type can be attractive to fans (like Fedor). I like Stipe's short to the point answers and awkward interview endings it makes him come off as more of a bad ass.
 
Agreed. In that regard he is the opposite of someone like Conor.. i like it.

Nate is the p4p most charismatic silent type though imo. Just love his awkwardness.
 
Champ or not, I can see him knocking out a couple of more top5 guys as an underdog, before his eventual downfall begins (whenever that happens) .
 
Idk Stipe can be pretty charismatic after fights and in interviews. He's just not am over-the-top fight selling machine like Conor. But he's a heavyweight and he'll gain fans on that and his phenomenal fighting style.

If he was from a state that had a populace which could actually afford to buy PPVs he's do around 338,000.

stipe is nothing like nate. the guy is a brick. and the worst part is he doesn't even know it.
 
If Cleveland actually gets behind him and he wins his next, he might really have something with his Stoic Stipe persona
 
He's fine. This isn't high school stop trying to analyze these guys personalities.
 
Maybe he got the most cheers out of any non Brazilian who won.
 
Stipe sucks. He'll lose to Overeem, Cain/Browne or even to JDS again in a rematch.
 
Seems like when he first signed with the UFC, they marketed him as the new crocop. Did I imagine that??
 
Werdum forgot he was a grappling expert. He should have fought like Maia. Instead he fought like Ronda. Running after his opponent as if to say " get over here and let me knock you out! Dont you know I am in Brazil in front of my people!". What a clown. He came in there with that stupid grin of his and got fans to wear that dumb ass mask, only to get KTFO and woke up in Disneyland.

no he didn't. he tried to take Stipe down, he just couldn't. he decided to use his hands to setup the takedown later. he connected with a few good punches and then got overly aggressive and knocked out.

Werdum was in terrible shape but he didn't just get Aldo'd, he had some success in the brief fight.
 
I like Stipe, but I don't see him getting big PPV numbers.

the ZUFFA marketing machine should be bribing Lebron to be friends with Stipe.
