I have italian roots; however, since I was born and raised in the United States, I don't speak italian. Probably the same deal with Diaz... and the majority of people born in the US.

lol, yeah they do. stockton is full of hispanic people. nick is probably like me. a guy of mexican descent who didn't use spanish often when young. i speak spanish with my parents, and it's not very good. aside from speaking it with immediate family, i hardly use it. maybe nick's the same way.

As far as I'm aware he was born in the US and has grown up there all his life. Just because he has roots to a specific country doesn't necessarily mean he'd speak the mother tongue
