Does Ngannou have heart?

yeah but i think the definition of willpower to overcome adversity is literally correlated with high cardio-vascular conditioning, this idea that two people with the same cardio-vascular conditioning can have different performances based on "heart" has literally never been proven and if anything has been disproven.

If you don't think mental fortitude has (huge) influence in a competitive environment you've never done anything even remotely connected to sports and competition.

yeah but what is mental fortitude, can it be measured, im not saying it doesn't exist but for a word that is used so frequently used we have such little understanding of what it is, can you improve it? Or do you need mental fortitude in the first place to even stop the apathy and actually have the will to get up and train it. It's all semantics I suppose but i dont think humans are intelligent enough to understand these things yet so I think the word "heart" needs to be used a lot less.
TLDR; "heart" is a massive generalization of multiple factors
