Watching this video Hardy explains Francis's "Double Bluff" in catching Overeem at apprx. the 8:15 mark.

He makes it sound like Ngannou planned this knowing Overeem would be looking for Ngannou to throw a certain combo and then improvised when he did. I don't know if this is great Fight IQ and adapting in the fight by Ngannou, planned by a great coaching staff, both or what.

What do you think?

A-level athleticism and A-level explosiveness.

In order to really see his fight IQ, we will have to see him be forced into a situation where he must adapt and overcome.

So far, he has shown some pretty crazy reflexes and speed for a guy his size.

I think this Stipe fight will tell us more about where he is than his previous 5 fights combined. It is by far his biggest test.

True.

But what happens if he drops Stipe in one of their first exchanges? Won’t have a great example then.

I dont think he feels threatened by anyone he's faced. which gives him a clearer mind to land the shots he wants to. he'll totally leave himself open to land a heavy punch and its working out so far.

Ngannou, like Jon Jones, is just gifted with great genetics. Very long arms , athletic physique, and strength.

He's basically a black Shane Carwin. He can knock anyone out with one punch. That's his secret.

He's got dynamite in his hands, thats all we really know about him at this point.

Honestly i think this is prime Ngannou, thats how it is with most HWS they peak fast and decline slowly.

50-45 Stipe via unanimous decision. Back to the drawing board for the predator. He'll get another crack at the belt once he sharpens his wrestling & improves his cardio.

Like I’ve been saying, he’s very clever, in your face and patient.

His grappling coach is the great Vinny Maghales ,
His boxing coach is Dewey Cooper ,seems like a good coach (he trains at the mayweather gym)
He brang Jerome Le Banner (!!!) for his kickboxing
And his head coach is Fernand Lopez, for whom who dont know this guy, he seems like a really articulate and intelligente guy, and he is the one who pick up francis from the street, so kudo to francis for sticking with him even after moving to Las Vegas ,loyal shit

I honestly think if Stipe wins it will because he’s outstriking Francis and Francis gets tired and TKO’d before the end of the third.

I think if Ngannou wins it will be by TKO or KO in the 1st or second round.

My bet is Ngannou by KO or TKO by the end of the 2nd round though.
