He obviously had cardio issues in last fight. Maybe he should look at jones who has his own nutriocionist or diaz who is vegan. I know for a fact that the nutritioning is more important than training

You'd like to think a pro athlete would be on top of things like that.

He's back on salads - steak didn't work out.

It doesn't get any more serious than steaks for breakfast, bro!

Clearly he does. It was not easy for him to get down to 145, he did it because he was disciplined about his food.

Conor does have his own nutritionist, George Lockhart the same guy working with Cyborg. Unlike Brolce he is actually a legit nutritionist not an accountant and bro scientist.

Two breakfasts and a dessert, yeh.

Absolutely. His coach has bragged about how measured his diet is when trying to make the cut to 145. Then again, his diet is just one of the many, many excuses he's used for his loss to Nate.

a couple of lines = breakfast, lunch, dinner...

he's efficient.

I honestly can't believe how some fighters have such a problem with this, Hendricks comes to mind, at that level in the sport you would think that wouldn't even be an issue. You would think it would only better them to stay in better shape between fights.

Conor getting down to 145 would be like me making 155, and I'm in no hurry to try lol. Guy is obviously very serious about his nutrition. Not buying into or making excuses but I think not having to worry about his weight allowed him to get careless.

I heard he's going to try the Diaz diet.

That was Hendricks problem. He would let himself get over 200 lbs when not training for a fight. No discipline that is ridiculous. Also without IV he isn't able to balloon back up near 200 on fight nights anymore. I think it has had a bigger effect on him than anyone else on the entire roster.

How do you think he got down to 145 and look like a skeleton every time if he didn't watch his diet? It's just the one time that he did not have to cut weight at all that did him in. He thought he could just eat whatever because it wouldn't matter for the scale. He didn't take into account it would matter for his gas tank.

And no, nutrition is not better than training. I can't become a good fighter through nutrition alone, but I can become a good fighter through training alone. Look at Fedor, Hunt and Nelson.
