He probably could have earned a shot if he beat Condit (not that he would, but watching those two gritty, hard-nosed bastards going at it would have been epic!) but he beat Silva. He has been brought along verrrrrrry slowly, probably should have had a top ten a couple of fights ago and a contenders match already.
