How can you be GOAT when you have never dominated the division? Why can't he just be a good fighter? Not everybody has to be the GOAT.

GOATs are athletes who consistently dominate. Winning a couple fights, then losing, then winning another fight, and then losing and etc, doesn't make you a GOAT just because you have brand-name fighters on your record.

Dominating for multiple years makes an athlete GOAT. Stop lowering the bar for GOAT status.

Anderson Silva is the GOAT of middle weight, and no current fighter will surpass him.

GSP got over the Serra loss and went on to belong in GOAT discussions...but he also got to smash Serra in a rematch. Luke will probably have to settle for winning their first meeting, as it seems highly unlikely there will be a 3rd.
