Leben was my first favourite fighter, I followed his entire career (in the ufc), never missed a fight. The guy came to BANG, he never got a TS but I think he had his place in the UFC. He had some awesome wins against Wand, Sakara, and his best win in Akiyama (amazing fight, check it out if you havent seen it).

He is often remembered for getting dusted by Anderson, but that speaks volumes of Andersons skill level. Anyways, Leben was the guy you had to be able to beat to earn a spot in the UFC and be a contender. The gate keepers gate keeper.

He had a major drug problem, and I think he never reached his potential because of it. If he was ever in a boring fight, it wasnt his fault (think Bisping fight). He was a descendent of the JBG god and I don't understand how you could hate the guy. Ill never forget his time in the UFC. Leben fans where you at?

Thats awesome. Ive never met a fighter before tbh, but Id love to meet Leben. Seems like a good dude.
 
they're all in japan where the competition is easier.


but nah he's always seemed like a good dude with obvious mental and substance abuse problems, i'm glad he's clean now.
 
that crazy streak he had beating sexyama on short notice and then wanderlei was one of the most fun ive had watching mma
 
Lost about $800 on the Terry martin fight. Stopped gambling because of it, but hold 0 grudge against chris. Really enjoyed watching him get punched in the head. I remember screaming "punch him in the head!" And being pissed whenever the ref would stop it. People at a ufc get together looked at me like I was some kind of pyscho. Diego Sanchez fills that void that leben left in my heart.

Leben was hilarious and kill or be killed in the cage

Hard hitter and I can relate to his struggles. Plus, if you didn't know, he interacts with randoms/fans on twitter. Cool dude, might have one more fight in him. True warrior and healthy again.

i hated him
then i hated him even more after he knocked wanderlei out in 32 seconds.
 
His fight with sexyama was shit hot
 
Gotta admire a guy who has won that many full on brawls. Anytime someone tries to bang with him on that level he was always the last man standing.
