He's on a 4-fight losing streak.
If he loses to Garcia tonight, that's 5 losses in a row.
Is this his last fight ever in the UFC?

One was a robbery and another was a blown out knee. Also a loss to Sterling isn't that bad. I would say retirement more than being cut. If he wants to fight on he should be able to in the UFC.

I´m for keeping him around forever for teaching that evil man Stehpens Jeremy a lesson. One of the only times I wanted to see someone hurt. Cause Stehpen loves to hurt people, what he did to Jason is one of the dirtiest things I saw. Besides that Jeremy is a great fighter.

I need to see his performance tonight but I'm expecting him to get slaughtered. It's probably time to hang em up if he does.

Could be wrong but I think Garcia will run through him. Should call it a day.

They always need guys to lose fights. He’s a good gatekeeper

Kattar looks like the big German guy from Oklahoma City Thunder.
I like Garcia too, but hoping CK pulls the veteran upset.

I hope not.. I know hes on a bad streak but hes always in exciting fights so id like to see him kept around..

Considering one loss was an injury and Kattar is almost always in exciting fights, i think they should keep him around

His losses are to pretty fucking high level guys but still you gotta win more than 1 out of 5.

He'd be fun in BKFC.

It depends upon where he is in his current contract. If he loses badly tonight and has several more big paydays potentially on his contract he may get cut. If he is near the end of a contract the UFC would probably just let him fight it out. If you are a good trouble free contractor for the UFC, you rightfully earn a little more weight upon your side when they do the cost/benefit analysis for their business shareholders.

I think they keep him as long as his pay is not too high. They need guys like him as long as they remain competitive.

He just was never the same after that ass whooping he got from Max.

Think it should be up to Kattar if he wants to be a stepping stone. He's entertaining as the loser; may as well keep him to build others

He didnt really throw anything for the first two and a half rounds. I dont think he wants to be there anymore so either retirement or cut.

Is Thompson really the oldest guy on the current roster?

Pay is too high and he's leaving the rankings now so it's going to be hard to use him for building up talent. I suspect he gets cut. They have soooo many options at 145, an older 1 dimensional boxer lacking crippling power is just taking up space.

Rough stretch for Kattar. Garcia is nasty. Seems like so long ago when Kattar beat Giga.

not a chance, he was just the co-main event. they will let him be a stepping stone for some guys on the prelims before they let him go
