Does Jon Jones inspire you?

Not at all. He doesn't even inspire me as a fighter since he is much bigger than anyone else. I don't find his skills to be amazing. He has to eye gouge to win half his fights. No, I'm not inspired by Jon Jones @ all. Maybe if he was himself he'd be more inspirational but his fake personality kills it for me. I can see how some people would be inspired by him tho. Fuck bitches, make $$$ and kick ass.

Altercation. Unless I'm not privy to some other run in with law enforcement.

Yes leaving the scene of a crime is shitty. But you said it yourself. He was intoxicated, therefore not of sound judgement.

Not exactly great examples to label someone a Terrible Human being
Lol

You must be a serious loser. I don't mean a loser like insulting someone because they're not cool. Like a loser in life where if you didn't flunk out of high school or get expelled, you think you deserve a pat on the back. Or if you didn't get fired or get into a fight with a co-worker for a year, you thought you overachieved.

And getting arrested multiple times for DUIs and running from a hit and run then returning to get your drugs then running again is not quite terrible. Just a below average day.

Hilarious. Well, and scary because you probably just got out of prison recently.

Dude... Wanderlei eating steroids(facts not bashing) putting other peoples lives at risk for financial gain and fame... think about that and then think about what you just said.

Yes it's an apples and oranges comparison on the surface but at the core it has two people knowingly doing things that could potentially have a result ending in serious injury or death.

Yet one you praise because it was hidden under the guise of combat sports and business where one was a personal snafu.
man stfu and stop crying, so tired of cucks crying about fighters trying to be the best. one of the most disgusting things ive ever heard.

Two willing participants who know PEDS are allowed in the sport is different then lets say a family driving along the road.

If all parties are allowed PEDS it levels the field I guess, these guys know what they are getting into.

If Jones smashes into a car and kills a family, that is way worse.

You're still hinging on what Enson says as Gospel. Try going to court and seeing how far hearsay gets you with out tangebel evidence.

Now hey. Let's say What Enson has said on record is true. 100% facts backing it and all.

Enson himself if I'm not mistaken, while encouraged and notified it was a-OK still fought clean. Therefore The playing field is still not even.

Yes we can say he and every other fighter knew what they were getting in to. But the same statement can be said for every person who gets behind the wheel of a vehicle. They know what they are getting in to. They know there are some terrible people who are going to do dumb stuff.

Lol whats with all these goody 2 shoes fools on here acting like they are Ned flanders or some shit. You dont even know the guy personally to say something like that. You just judge him based on his car incidents.
Lol. Sounds like another ex-con here.

Thanks for the chuckle. Couldnt be any further from the truth. But it was a nice read.

I was inspired by his online instructional videos.

As much as I would love to hang around and kick it with the Nocturnal neckbeards, I must go get some sleep. 5am comes early and the money isn't going to make itself. I'm sure you guys can all relate. With that being said if you have a point to make. Don't hold your breath for my reply.

Axe Murderer. Have a good night man. No salt here so I can only assume there is no salt on your end. Just old fashioned sherdog debates.

Um, Jones being intoxicated while driving - therefore having impaired his judgement while in control of a vehicle - makes him look worse. That isn't any kind of excuse for him fleeing the scene.

No salt here brah, just differing opinions, just like you said sherdog debating. Have a good night man.

Jones has been arrested more then once, he has had "altercations" with the law.

I dont know Jones, he seems like an arrogant dick head, who walks around like his shit doesn't stink.

Based on how he speaks to people, and his issues with the law, he seems like a shit person. This is my opinion.

Not just yours, not by a long shot.

He always reminds me how to not behave in life.

When all you hear about a person is them being a shitty human its easy to assume they are a shitty human.

I like Jon as a fighter and a person. I think at heart he is a good, smart guy that is having a hard time dealing with having few restrictions on him due to his fame and abilities. He's a knucklehead that seems to have lacked a strong mentor or guiding force. His bros were going off to the NFL and he was in Junior College knocking up his gf. He wasn't ready for the success he got.
I respect and admire his ability to destroy his opponents, but I think his success is mostly due to his natural abilities and not so much the work he puts in. It's hard to be inspired by something I could never achieve.
He's like Akuma of street fighter. He's a dangerous, bad mothafucka...I have to respect him for being a bad ass, but he's just power...it'd be like being inspired by the sun. A guy like Ryu would be someone inspiring. ..he obviously puts in the training and work to be a master. (I was playing Streetfighter last night with the bros, thus the references) I can train to get better. ..I cant just 'be' great

So that makes putting someone's life at risk? Because a notorious gang ran company said its okay? Gtfo. And unless you have proof other than what Enson says than I don't know what to tell you. And man. I love Wanderlei. Even waited in 3 feet of snow to meet him once. But no way will I condone his actions. The same way I won't blanket him as a terrible human being for it.

Like I said. I get its your opinion. But damn man.

Enson had the his PRIDE contract and be brought it on Rogan's podcast where the posted a pic of it:

Reminds me of that Charles Barkley commercial from the 90s. Pretty spot on.

Nice straw man argument, but that's not what you've been arguing this thread. You've been trying to give him a pass due to the indiscretions of youth.

Jon does inspire me in a way; he is after all, probably the GOAT. He has yet to be truly beaten.

Look at this way: as far as MMA goes, he's elevating the game right now. Of all the champions to fall in the cage (Aldo, Rousey, Pettis, Dillashaw, Cain)... he's still yet to be beaten. There's something inspirational there.

And his war with Gustaffson? Him not tapping to a full on Belfort armbar? Hell, the first fight I saw him, he hit Stephan Bonnar with one of the best spinning elbows you'll find.

As a person he seems to have some issues. He's what, 27? Sure, he should be a better role model in his position, he should be more consistent with his attitude. Most if not all of his issues seem to be either with substances or behind the wheel. I do hope he figures things out. The guy has so much talent. It would be a shame, if he just pisses it away.

Not over this yet? Where have I been trying to give him a pass? Man. what he did was messed up no ifs ands or buts. I've never once stated otherwise. The argument was over him being blanketed as a terrible human being for a handful of offenses that any average person could(and stats show) do encounter.

And what does me saying someone's quote reminded me of a commercial have anything to do with this?

Go to bed. Your debating Game is weak and it shows.
