Does Ferguson have better cardio than Khabib?

I think so. But how will his cardio be while Khabib is wrestling and wrapping him up like a burrito all fight?

Tony went hard for 5 rounds in Mexico so you should be asking if Khabib can maintain pace with Tony

You bet he does!

Tony time, bitches!

Id say so, but with khabib on top ground and pounding away it could deteriorate, if Tony controls the early rounds or can survive a hard round or two under khabib things could get very interesting.

Tony has the best cardio in UFC in any classification of weightclass. 10/10. I saw Tony fight at very high altitude in Mexico against RDA, and he didn't even have sweat on him after round 5, he has amazing gas tank. The best.

Just for reference there were flyweights gassed on that card, and Henry Cejudo fought previously in Mexico and he was exhausted in round 3 and admitted it and said he was so tired and feeling it, 125 pounder.

Tony has incredible cardio so Khabib better be very solid or he will be exhausted with a guy like Tony.

Who can swim faster? I pick Tony he has more streamlined sunglasses for an Olympic swimming pool

They both have world class cardio, but Khabib expends more energy stylistically. Constantly pressing for takedowns, constantly moving forward, smothering.

I personally expect to see Khabib slow down in the championship rounds

thats what im saying. The proof is in the pudding.

Nah Tony has better cardio than Nate, Nate has never even won a 5 round fight and gassed against Conor.

Probably better than Nick too.

What

The first McGregor fight was scheduled for 5 rounds. He also main evented a fight card with Jim Miller and won

I mean he has never actually gone 5 rounds and won a fight.

Tony went 5 rounds in Mexico against another high paced pressure fighter in RDA and won without breaking a sweat.

Oh yeah.

Well....

UFC 3 says otherwise! Ha!

It appears Ferguson has the cardio advantage. It could be an important factor in the later rounds and may quite possibly be the key turning point for him to win the fight assuming Khabib loses steam to the extent of not being able to secure a takedown. I could see Khabib getting pieced apart if that is the case. However if Khabib hold strong in all 5 rounds it may be a long night (or short) for Ferguson.

I think there's a chance Ferg may attempt to push the pace and quite possibly not be afraid to be offensive himself at times in the wrestling department in hopes to maybe get some unorthodox strikes, dirty boxing from the inside and maybe drain some energy from Khabib while he is defensive. Although not sure if that would work against a high caliber grappler like Khabib, which could backfire.
