Does dog meat actually taste good?

So I am 100% on board with people and cultures eating dog and I think it is wrong to favor 1 species of animal for mass torture, slaughter and factory farming consumption but not favor another. Pigs, Goats, Cows and Chickens are all mammals and dont want to die yet do in mass.

Im not a PC person but it is just straight up cultural insensitivity and racism to look down upon those cultures namely in the east who eat dogs or even bats.

Dark countries it is legal to kill dogs and eat them, US and Australia its illegal, light purple countries it is partially legal.

describe the taste. have you had it more than once? Curious about people who have eaten it regularly or several times. I have had horse only 2x so I can say I know for certain all horse. The first time it was overcooked steak the 2nd time it was good but didnt quite taste like a cow steak seemed yes lean and less flavorful.

I had it once on a train to Hanoi in Vietnam. It tastes beefy but was pretty dry and bland. I could never eat Dog as I absolutely adore them as creatures. I actually didn't know it was dog at first. I was sharing a train with some Viets and they bought a bunch of meat and vodka onto the train and shared it with me.

I've tried most meats, so I'm fine with trying it once too.

Just looked up the video for this and man some of those dogs are likely to be traumatized by it. One of them just ate the poor thing at the end though.
