Does Brock have a better chin than Hunt?

The reaction if Brock KOs Hunt thread got me thinking......



At this point in time we've seen Hunt be KOd several times, Brock however (while not being a good striker & reacting horribly to being punched) has never actually been separated from conciousness.

He took about 9500 punches from Carwin (probably the heaviest hands ever in mma) and he flopped around & danced & got almost TKOd but was never out of it.

Cain while not being a very heavy handed guy TKOs ppl with accuracy and volume, but didn't actually KO Brock that I remember.

Reem was a liver kick totally irrelevant here.


Hunt has shown he can be KOd by people with less power than Brock and Brock has shown he can resist being KOd by someone with more power than Hunt.


What say you sherbros? Does Brock have the better chin at this stage of their careers?

Well, Lesnar have the best wrestling, kicks, and boxing HW ever had. Ok, he lost a couple of fights, but not because of his opponent. He couldn't show how great he really is in those fights.

So he doesn't really need a chin. Even though he doesn't need it, he still has the best chin this sport ever had.

There is only one who can beat him right now. And that dude is Conor off camp. Everyone kows here that Conor is actually a Super HW who cuts weigh so he can fight fighters his size. But that doesn't matter. Conor wants all the belts, and he will only stop when he has it all. Nate is next, then after he is getting the LW belt.

After that, he is coming for every belt. And HW will be the last, Conor then will not have to cut any weigh and he will fight Lesnar in his natural class for the belt.

Conor already has 3 belts, though. The Conor belt, FW belt, and Super HW check belt.

It took a wheel kick from JDS after a fuckton of punishment, a knee he leaned into from Werdum and a 5 round ass whooping from Stipe to put Hunt away nowadays.

No I don't think so. Hunt use to take brutal shots in K1 and not drop. Brocks chin is nowhere near as bad as some people like to make out though. People acting like he got dropped by some strawweight. Cain dropped JDS with basically the same punch in their 1st fight.

Yes. Hunt's chin WAS legendary and its still good but nowhere near the days of old. Do you guys really think Hunt couldn't eat Werdum's knee? He leaned into prime Cro Cops headkick and didnt get knocked down yet he gets knocked down by 1 knee from werdum, 1 straight from bigfoot, etc.


Obviously it hasn't deteriorated as much as Liddell or anything but its clearly not what it used to be

Based on what? Absolutely nothing considering Hunt has been knocked out more than once. Brock never has, not when eating a hundred prime Carwin bombs and not when landing on his chin with all his body weight from 20 feet in the air. Brock's chin shits on Hunt's.
