Does anyone not like Yoel’s fights?

I feel like entertainment wise, he’s very overrated. His fights sometimes really suck because he just does the wait n explode thing, and his opponents are always scared to engage. So they just point-fight with him.

His notoriety is largely based on a small selection of fights from his overall career. Weidman, Rockhold, and the fights with Whittaker. Throughout his career, he's displayed almost inhuman levels of low fight IQ.

Definitely a beast of an athlete. Highly inconsistent throughout his career due to his own weird brain.

He’s one of those guys who has an amazing highlight reel but is horrible to watch a whole fight of theirs.

He’s got the explosiveness, but it has only been actually seen for a few moments in all his fights. He normally misses big, but that alone scares his opponents.

even with some of his explosive finishes, he’s really boring to watch. Why didnt he explode all over adesanya, something tells me its not his fight IQ, he’s just a low risk fighter.

Nemkov beat the shit out of him though. Literally his most toughest fight since his early KO loss to Rafael Cavalcante.

Nemkov beat him, but it was never close to ending, even when nemkov had him on the fence, he still scares them with his power. Then he starts doing some drunken fist shit, nemkov should leg kicked him to hell while he was doing that.

Maybe someone could teach him how to use footwork to close distance or teach him some setups. I don't remember the guy ever throwing a jab lol
