Does anyone else think Aspinall has glass chin vibes and Pavlovich has iron chin vibes?

Someone who seems like they might have been a dork in highschool, who then has a growth spurt and does juice, and then ends up with an alpha male body.

There's this weird chimera effect where there's an underlying element that the person is a nail in their essence, and not a hammer.

Or it could be something else.

Brendan Schaub is a great example of that

Aspinall to be the next Overeem: Athletic with all the skills, but can get put out suddenly when up two rounds to nothing.

Pavlovich possibly another Francis, ie, made from steel, which is demonstrated in his punching and ability to take shots.

Probably will get both questions answered on Saturday.

This is HW... there's only Nogueria chin and everything else ..

Yes and no.

I 100% concur that Aspinall has glass chin vibes ... and I get the same vibe concerning Pavlovich.

Neither one has a good chin, IMO. Pavlovich may be tougher than Aspinall, and it wouldn't surprise me if he drops Aspinall, but I think Frances Ngannou would knock Pavlovich's ass out.

Ngannou is the more physical individual, with a massive head and neck.

Pavlovich's facial structure and neck aren't all that impressive to me, by a long shot.
Pavlovich has a truly great chin, he took hard clean punches from Lewis and Tuivasa and did not flinch a bit.

Aspinall gives me Well-Rounded Vibes, as well as Moves Quick for a Tall Heavyweight-Vibes

Pav gives off glass ground game vibes, and Aspinall gives off iron ground game vibes lol.

Unimpressive Neck Pavlovich is born.

Actually Pavlovich ate some good shots from Curtis.
It's his beating from Division 1 Overeem that I can't forget.

Nobody has ever touched Aspinall in the UFC. Or challenged him in any way.

I know MMAmath tends to be faulty

But the key to understanding this fight is Curtis Blaydes. Both fighters had polar opposite showings against him

He took some time away from mma to box. He was a sparring partner in one of Tyson furys camps. I doubt very much he has a glass jaw but tbh none is us actually know! He’s never been visibly hurt in any of his fights other than the knee injury, but we should have this questioned answered at the weekend. I think either guy can knock the other out

Literally only saying that because Pav has a thick neck and Aspinall's is normal

I don't think that Asp has a glass chin but I think that he had favorable opponents in front of him which let him throw in some hands from distance and then got finished when he closed the distance but that this wont work on Pav. Pav will stay there and as soon as they are in close distance will have the historic advantage of having situations where he was banging it out against other hard strikers.

This is one theory, however, its MMA and Asp is as very athletic and could also ragdoll Pav, or even vice versa.

That's the beauty of MMA and I love the fights where I don't have a favorite but just want the fight to be a banger.

Well that isn't true. Nobody that could really hurt him has touched him, but Aspinall does get hit in fights.

Arlovski was landing pretty well against him, so was Tybura in his last fight, but neither are really dangerous finishing threats with their striking. Crazy to say that about Arlovski given how dangerous his striking was in his prime, but it's true.

The most dangerous striker Aspinall has fought is Volkov, and you could tell he came prepared for it because Volkov couldn't lay a glove on him. Between his speed, slick head movement and range management Aspinall didn't get hit clean once. I think having a healthy fear makes Aspinall fight at another level.

I rewatched Pav vs Blaydes yesterday and Pav was just eating clean shots. I was impressed and concerned. It’s not the best strategy to defend punches with your face. To answer your question though I am impressed with Pav’s chin.
