Does anyone believe USADA is actually effective?

the olympics often don’t catch Athletes cheating for years or decades later.

so you could imagine if they had samples they test over time.
Well, that's the thing.
MY point about the olympics is that they can test for a lot more, and the cost is not as prohibitive since it is once (for about a month) every 4 years only.
MMA is constant, without breaks, 365 days every year.

But there has been a lot of progress, for instance the athlete's bio passport.
And they do keep old smples, that they can go back in time and test (once they detect an anomality) to see if old samples also had it.

but the game is always catching up to cheaters, who are always inventing new ways to cheat, and that will never change.

Yes because USADA give a list of what they test for, so anyone with money/resources can obtain/create something they do not test for.
There's no way to get around this either. You have to tell the athletes what the banned substances are.

USADA can (and do) evolve their banned substance list, but the athletes with money are always going to be ahead of them.

Exactly, Chael even said this, USADA allow you to cheat by giving you the list

Nah ....mma tried and it didn’t work ....let’s going back to pride fc testing

Icarus showed me all I need to know about USADA / RUSADA.

They're all bullshit.

So....citation needed? If they aren't keeping it clean, what sport is? Where's the evidence that you can easily test clean while being dirty when they are catching guys with picograms of material in their system?

Yeah. And the cia didn’t introduce crack to the inner cities. Or drug smuggling to fund both sides with money and weapons in Nicaragua.
Or allowed the Sinaloa cartel to smuggle billions of dollars worth of drugs in the us. From the mid 90s. To not to not to long ago?

And you’re equating corruption as it’s impossible for a drug testing company and you wonder why everyone either does or doesn’t know about all the details?

are you 11 or just extremely naive to the world ? No offense just curious.

this is just a couple of huge deals from highly regarded agencies. Over a few decade span. Just a couple of for instances.
you don't want to attempt to actually address the questions?

again, the nature and structure of the organizations matters. the financing sources and recipients matter. the who's matter.

the cia by definition operates in secret and with approved government funding.

endeavor is a public company. usada is a non-profit. if you don't want to address basics but still suggest it's the likely scenario....

except that's just a lie.

Any pharmacological substance which is not addressed by any of the subsequent sections of the List and with no current approval by any governmental regulatory health authority for human therapeutic use (e.g. drugs under pre-clinical or clinical development or discontinued, designer drugs, substances approved only for veterinary use) is prohibited at all times.

more people are caught under usada
it makes cheating harder

USADA: Here is a list of banned substances we test for
Fighter/PED Doctor: Lets find/create something that's not on the list

Pretty easy right?

Yes because USADA give a list of what they test for, so anyone with money/resources can obtain/create something they do not test for.
they give you a list of what is prohibited. some substances that are not on the prohibited list could still flag on the test.

It's weird for a while it seemed like big names were getting popped every other week. But lately for the last 2 years nothing

no, Because the UFC pays them under the table to keep quiet on big stars
