Does anyone actually not use Q-Tips?

I know you're not supposed to put anything smaller than your fist in your ear or some such nonsense, but does anyone actually follow that advice? I ran out of q-tips yesterday and I'm dying already. Gonna make an emergency trip to Walgreens in a second here.

Nah. My audiologist says they just make things worse more often than not unless you're just using them on the edges of your inner ear. Just put a small a small fingertip of shampoo foam in your ear when you shower and wash it out.

I use Q-Tips everyday. I also use a wash cloth with soap when I shower. Almost everyone I ask only use soap. Fucking dirty bastard's.

Here they sell little squirt bottles full of seawater, which I guess melts earwax. They're expensive but they blast your ears clean bro
