Does anyone actually like Amy Schumer or Anthony Jeselnik?

I got a whole two hours of sleep so far so I got stuck watching TV and holy shit does Inside Amy Schumer suck ass. How the hell did she get her own show? I never watched any of her stand up so I'm in the dark about her work but what they showed on that episode was horrible.

Same thing goes for Anthony Jeselnik. I actually liked his parts he's had on roasts but his Caligula special, his show and his comic style are just bad all around.

Now I'm gonna try to get 45 minutes of sleep before work.

I like Anthony but Amy schumer sucks. Shock comedy can be funny if the jokes are good and original, the shock value is not funny on it's own to me.

They both seem like dicks. Jeselnick is just a poor mans, unfunny, tosh who relies way too much on shock humor.

And Schumer just seems unfunny and cvnty. I'll never forget the Roast where she said that Ryan Dunn joke to Steve O right after it he died.

I know it was a roast but it was too much IMO and Steve O had a look on his face like it just crushed his world.

And to top it off, nobody laughed. It was just unfunny, even objectively.

I remember seeing them on the Charlie Sheen Roast and thinking they sucked ass, and while I'm used to a lot of racist/sexist/classist/agist remarks being thrown around during those roasts, they are usually pretty clever, and thus funny. Those two were just outright offensive, without bringing the funny along with it.

I've watched her show a few times. 1/15 times, she says something funny, almost as if by accident.

Jeselnick has a lot of misses on his show, unfunny segments, but he gets some solid hits.

Amy is more consistent, but still not always funny.

You might just be grumpy from sleep deprivation

Amy acts like a huge whore. She's exactly what Jerry Lewis was talking about when he said he didn't like seeing female comics degrade themselves.

I like both their stand-up but I've heard their shows are terrible. 'Shakespeare' was definitely better than 'Caligula' but I enjoyed both.

The best part of that was after she made that joke and everyone sat there silent, Mike Tyson who was sitting next to Steve-O says "Man fuck that bitch!"

Also - don't judge a comic based on network shows they get. All network shows have a TEAM of writers.

Yeah the Burn was great. The best of the bunch.

Amy tries too hard to act like a whore. Who knows, maybe she's just damaged goods in real life.
Jeselnik's show was better but it wasn't that offensive. I did like some of the guest comics on there but they rarely lived up to the ones on The Burn.

Jeselnik is one of the best comics working at the moment. Tastes are subjective but if you deny his talent and ability you're probably being biased. His skill to misdirect the audience is second to none.
